Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Personal Automation handles Google user data. The application is a private, non-commercial utility operated for a single user.
1. Data the application accesses
With the user’s explicit authorization, Personal Automation accesses Google Calendar data through the calendar.readonly scope. This may include calendar names, event titles, descriptions, times, locations, attendees, recurrence information, status, and provider identifiers required to synchronize changes.
2. How data is used
Calendar data is used only to maintain a local personal schedule projection and generate a personal daily brief. The application does not create, edit, or delete Google Calendar events. Google user data is not used for advertising, profiling, credit decisions, or any unrelated purpose.
3. Storage and security
Data is stored in a private database on infrastructure controlled by the application’s sole operator. Access credentials and application data are protected using operating-system permissions and are not intentionally exposed to the public. Reasonable safeguards are used, but no system can guarantee absolute security.
4. Sharing and disclosure
Google user data is not sold, rented, or shared with third parties for their own purposes. When enabled by the operator, a brief derived from calendar information may be delivered to the operator’s own configured Telegram chat. In that case, Telegram processes the delivered message under its own terms and privacy policy. Data may also be disclosed when required by applicable law.
5. Retention and deletion
Locally synchronized information is retained only for the operator’s personal automation and backup needs. The operator may delete the local database and backups at any time. Revoking Google access stops future collection but does not automatically erase existing local copies.
6. Your controls
The user can revoke access at any time from the Google Account third-party connections page. The operator can also stop the automation services and delete locally stored information.
7. Google API Services User Data Policy
Personal Automation’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
8. Contact
Questions or deletion requests may be sent to the developer contact address displayed on the Google OAuth consent screen.
9. Changes
This policy may be updated when the application’s data practices change. The effective date at the top of this page identifies the current version.
